Johannesburg Surgical Hospital , designed by A3 Architects , is a new state-ofthe-art specialised surgical hospital situated in Northcliff , Johannesburg . The hospital consists of a total of 150 patient beds and 13 specialised theatres , 38 doctors consulting rooms , an emergency department and a first of its kind diagnostic imaging department complete with MRI and CT screening .
The hospital has attracted 38 of the top medical specialists encompassing all specialties , including but not limited to Neurology , Orthopedics , Cardiology , Urology , Gastrology , Plastic Surgery and General Surgery . The design process was tailored and driven by the doctors and staff input and feedback and the resulting building is
