The one side of the building contains the ablution facilities , Heart of School , library , art studio and music studio , and the other the dining hall , Life Lab and production kitchen . This part of the building is permeable and connected visually , linking the kitchen and dining areas to the vegetable gardens . The solid walls are constructed from locally manufactured clay bricks finished off with lime plaster which have a very high thermal mass to reduce temperature
fluctuations and store heat energy . The façade of the building can be completely open , allowing for maximum ventilation .
The kindergarden and primary school clusters have been arranged in such a way to create courtyard spaces . Organic shaped building clusters are grouped together with big oversailing roofs , providing a roofed walkway in front of the classrooms .
