Showroom for Architects in Cape Town JANSEN by M2G is now the exclusive distribution partner for JANSEN AG in South Africa and their extensive showroom in Cape Town was launched late last year , enjoying a great turn-out from local professionals in the property industry .
A virtual showroom will soon be uploaded to their website . Feedback from architects and metalworkers after the launch was positive and a number of requests for pricing came through , which helped the metalworkers adopt the design and estimating software .
Metalworker Training and Accreditation M2G ’ s service offering to the local market includes the training and accreditation of local metalworkers to ensure reliable delivery , which includes a practical pilot project test . There are currently eight metalworkers on the programme , who will graduate in March 2021 as JANSEN Fabrication Partners .

Glazed Fire Doors These glazed fire elements have generated numerous enquiries , so the systems will now be tested in local fire laboratories . A few typical configurations are for single and double doors , as well as systems that are insulated and non-insulated . These tests will be done with insulated fire resistant glass , which allows for insulated elements up to 120 minutes .
The profiles are supplied pre-filled with ceramic infill and are fabricated and coated as in the same way as the non-insulated systems , except for simple protocols when welding the joints .
