Patterns in the monochromatic flooring throughout the public areas provide an evocative sense of history whilst not trying to recreate a particular era . Due to the requirement for a technical upgrade to the wiring and plumbing the design team also took the opportunity to replan and redecorate the bathrooms .
Whilst retaining their own personality , the Shoreditch restaurant , Harvey ’ s bar and the courtyard now have a more unified design feel to that the guests can circulate from one space to the next and still experience a holistic design throughout .
Just beyond the courtyard The Constance Room offers boutique conferencing facilities , overlooking the refurbished pool terrace , which features bold black-and-white striped sun loungers and new landscaping . A reimagined wellness spa is also in the pipeline , with opening planned for early-2022 .
