NOVODECOR : NATUR COLLECTION MADE FROM NATURE
SURFORMA , who trade as Novodecor ( Pty ) Ltd in Southern Africa , recently launched their new range , The Natur Collection .
Traditionally when a highpressure laminate ( HPL ) is made to resemble a natural finish , such as stone and wood , it is a hard surface that is pressed with a textured overlay to resemble the deco , for example a wood grain or polished gloss stone . The Natur Collection utilises natural products in its lamination to provide the user with a natural organic textured finish with the durability and versatile applications that a HPL offers .
The growing interest in the environment , sustainability and energy efficiency are also fundamental pillars in furniture and interior decoration . The rise of nature and sustainability is also expressed in the materials that are in fashion today , Wood , linen , leather , marble , stone , clay , and wool are among the main materials that can be used to create a comfortable and welcoming environment . The Natur collection consists of six ranges , each with different colours and textures and is suitable for the furniture industry for use in living rooms , bedrooms , and offices as a vertical textured design application .
