An attenuation tank and drainage system had to be constructed first to catch rainwater runoff before any real building work could commence .
FIRST FLOOR PLAN
Design The development is comprised of five premium apartments and a spacious double storey penthouse . It differs from a standard apartment block as each apartment features its own distinct layout with differing floor areas and unique finishes . This made coordination very complicated and vitally important . The challenges of services not lining up vertically was overcome by taking advantage of Geberit ’ s cast-in pipe system to increase the flexibility and freedom of design allowing each buyer to customise their layout as they wanted , creating a truly personal living space . The smallest apartment totals 132m 2 , whilst the largest , the penthouse , boasts a 528m 2 footprint .
The landscaping comprises of indigenous plants to support and increase the biosphere of the coastal forest surrounds .
The response to the brief was to work with the site ’ s contours , thus creating a building that overlooked the tree canopy and maximised ocean views , while responding to its immediate
