ABIDE CREATIVE TRANSFORMS LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS WITH BELGOTEX ’ S FLIPTILE
Inscape Education Group ’ s Durban Campus has undergone a remarkable transformation , thanks to the full-service approach of Abide Creative , an interior design studio specialising in dynamic spaces . The project relocated the campus from Morningside to uMhlanga , converting a 1,500m 2 blank canvas into an inspiring haven for learners in the creative field .
Abide Creative carefully selected a blend of innovative flooring solutions to shape this dynamic environment . Fliptile , a Belgotex innovative carpet tile system , was used to infuse the space with Inscape ’ s vibrant brand identity . The result is far more than just a place to learn ; it ’ s an environment that fosters creativity , collaboration and a genuine sense of fun .
Modular Design , Endless Possibilities . Fliptile ’ s brilliance lies in its unique shape and user-friendly installation . Far from traditional square carpet tiles , Fliptile allows for endless patterns and designs through simple rotations . Abide Creative used this flexibility to their advantage , crafting flowing colour transitions , playful geometric zones and visually appealing walkways .
Fliptile consists of 11 colours including base colours ( Birch , Cloud , Driftwood , Gravel , Iron , Sandy , Steel ) and vibrant accent colours ( Dusk , Envy , Mustard , Shade ). Fliptile is not just beautiful ; it ’ s built to last . Its 100 % plain-cut pile construction delivers superior durability , ideal for high-traffic educational settings . With a heavy residential use classification , Fliptile ensures that this energetic campus will look its best for years to come .
Beyond Bold Design Lies Practicality Alongside Fliptile ’ s creative impact , Belgotex Berber Point 650 carpet in the colour Rock was installed throughout 700m 2 of study and recreation spaces . This choice ensures superior durability and stain resistance , ideal for a high-traffic campus setting . To complement the vibrant interior , the renovation also included an outside balcony featuring 180m 2 of Belgotex Leisure grass , extending the functional and inviting space for students .
