The development is conveniently located near a range of attractions , including the Menlyn Maine commercial sector , Lynnwood Bridge centre , Faerie Glen Nature Reserve , as well as acclaimed schools and hospitals . The apartments can be customised according to individual preferences , including choices for flooring , furniture , appliances , smart home features , and power enhancements .

The architectural design aims to conform to the triangular shape of the site and was inspired by the concept of brownfields redevelopment to create a distinctive and original structure . The rationale behind the movement on site and the arrangement of shared vs private spaces mostly depends on the context . The initial configuration of the building volumes consisted of vertically arranged standard residential blocks . However , they gradually shifted to align with the site boundaries by expanding along the centre axis . The design of the units was influenced by Tetris pieces , taking into consideration their volumes , arrangement , and the intriguing spatial configurations that may be achieved when they are stacked .
The architecture exhibits a playful approach , drawing inspiration from diverse architectural styles , notably art deco and industrial architypes . This influence is subtly included through circular window details and rounded edges .
The units are situated on various floors , resulting in distinct boundaries and encounters between ordinary activities . The ground level features green communal pockets that extend the indoor living experience to the outdoors , thereby expanding the open spaces on the premises . From the initial concept , it was crucial to ensure that the design catered to the needs of young professionals while maintaining appropriateness , this was then further examined by incorporating indoor and external areas that extended the interior spaces onto individual balconies .
Glenwood Heart was designed by Allofarchitecture x Urban Concept Architects and will be ready for occupation in 2025 .
