It has zone monitors, a tag operated pedestrian entrance and frequency hopping remotes for the garage parking entrances. All entrances have recorded CCTV footage with time and date stamps. Television Each apartment is supplied with the full bouquet of TV signals allowing each owner to install their own Satellite Decoder. The concrete designs have become a Berman Bros Group signature trademark and have been replicated in various developments 54 Solar Hot Water Generation The Odyssey has a central solar hot water heating system, supplying the entire building with hot water. The system consists of 28 solar collectors which are installed on the roof. The solar generated hot water is stored in 5 x 1,000 litre tanks in a dedicated plant room in the basement, from where the water is reticulated throughout the building. Electric backup heating makes up the shortfall of solar heat during overcast and winter days. Room Air Conditioners Split system inverter room air conditioners provide energy efficient cooling and heating to north facing units as a standard. Some owners on other exposures have chosen to have air conditioners installed as an extra. The penthouse flats have central ducted split units for the main living area and split system room air conditioners in bedrooms. Air-conditioning to penthouses also uses energy efficient inverter air-conditioning units. The Odyssey
