BEFORE RENOVATION
the driveway entrance to the centre which
blocked the view to the shops and didn’t
provide for pedestrian access to the site.
These walls were demolished and replaced
with ClearVu fencing with pedestrian gates
and stairs added for safety and convenience
of shoppers.
Lighting to the centre was also
attended to, by adding good lighting to
the walkways and strategic lighting to the
parking areas. The tenant signs, which
so often run amok when not monitored
and kept in line, were all removed for the
parapet walls to be plastered and painted,
and for tenants to replace their signs with
fresh applications all in keeping with a new
signage criteria document.
The refurbishment has resulted in new
stronger tenants taking up available space
vacated by non-performing offerings. The
branding is now stronger and in keeping with
Synergy’s vision for their portfolio.
