FOR IN SOUTH AFRICA

First African Holdings (FAH),
recently took part in the 2013
Deloitte Best Company to Work for
(BCTWF) survey that names the top
ranked employers to work for in SA.
This was the first time FAH
entered and they were ranked 4th
best company to work for in the
Manufacturing Industry category
for South African-based companies.
The idea is that, to create a better
workplace, management needs
to know what motivates their
employees and how aligned they
are with their employees’ values.
What is interesting is to see what
counts in employees’ minds when
evaluating the quality of the
workplace. Traditional factors like
remuneration and work-life balance
of course remain important, but
data from the survey shows a
definite shift in what employees
really want. Aspects such as
confidence in the organisation,
operational effectiveness and job
satisfaction are coming to the fore
as important indicators of employee
motivation and commitment.
FAH is one of the largest
manufacturers of signage products
in Africa with particular expertise
in the retail environment, financial
services sector and the oil industry.

THE COURTYARD, CENTURY CITY
A new block of prime sectional title offices is to be built at Century City to meet demand
