EDITORIAL I am so excited to announce that Architect & Builder has been adjudged the runner up in this year’s SAPOA Awards! This is a great honour for us as this is the first time we have entered the competition ourselves, despite having featured the awards for many years. The magazine has been in existence for 65 years and, we believe, has gone from strength to strength. From the early days when everything was done by hand, sticking and pasting articles etc, to our current format where digital issues are available so easily and the computer is an essential tool. Thank you to those judges who recognised our continuing value. It seems pertinent to mention that we will be featuring the SAPOA Awards in our next issue – this is always a bumper edition and I do hope everyone will support the feature. Coupled with this, we are (finally – but getting it right is vital Shelley Woode-Smith to us!) launching our first supplement, Surfaces.
