The brief was to achieve
a design that speaks to
the international language
of Microsoft’s global
brand, whilst referencing
our African roots
realisation was the principle of a coherent
and complete design language which speaks
of the company’s image and context, carried
through to every element of the environment.
Varying
workspace
functions
are
highlighted within the space planning with
different floor finishes, colours, furniture,
and graphic focal points. A range of spatial
approaches are provided to facilitate multiple
and shifting ways of working. Collaborative
and individual workplace productions are
enabled through a range of opportunities
Microsoft
for independent identity within a family of
co-operative expression. Adaptive spaces
adjust to their intended purposes and ease
working together by providing flexibility which
ensures relationships are built by improving
business efficiency.
The new design has improved employee
satisfaction with their working environment,
creating an increase in measurable
productivity which contributes to driving the
