milestone, with more than 50 projects now Green Star SA rated

he Green Building Council South
Africa (GBCSA) was established in
2007 to lead the transformation of
the property sector by ensuring that all
buildings are designed, built and operated
in an environmentally responsible way.
Only 7 years later, the council have
certified over 50 Green Star SA-rated
projects – a major milestone for the
