EDITORIAL I t is a new year and with it comes new opportunities and challenges. Challenges seem to be in the forefront, sadly, as Eskom continues to bombard the public with loadshedding at inexplicable times, making it extremely difficult for businesses to plan, grow etc. I receive emailed updates of my loadshedding times (unfortunately, my home and business fall into the same zone) so I try and work around this schedule, but even the poor company who sends me these times is forced to email me again and again as we move from Stage 1 to Stage 2 and back again. But, as South Africans, we learn to cope with these trials, most often with humour. I am sure many of you have seen the many social media quips about our power issues! Laughter is a good way to deal with things we cannot change.
