ROSEBANK MALL
EXTENSION, ROSEBANK,
GAUTENG
Construction of 12,000m2 for
the expansion of the Mall of
Rosebank in Bath Avenue, Rosebank, Gauteng, is underway. The
expansion will cross over Bath
Avenue and, once complete, the
new floor area will be approximately
62,000m², including old and new.
The Rosebank Gardens (formerly
Nedbank Gardens) building will be
demolished to make way for the
expansion. The new section will
have 8 levels - 6 levels parking and
2 levels retail.
Redevelopment of the existing
shopping centre to approximately
160 new stores is also planned.
Anchor tenants include Woolworths
Platinum, Edgars, Dis-Chem, Mr
Price Sports and Jet. Existing stores
will be upgraded or expanded.
New lifts, escalators, ablutions,
floor tiles, ceilings, lighting and
shopfronts and five new basement
parking levels will be constructed
SUMMER CLUB, SOMERSET WEST
The first phase of The Summer Club,
a 1.3 billion Rand secure eco and lifestyle
estate in Somerset West, has sold out
within just six weeks of launching at
prices between R650,000 and R1,3m.
Construction has commenced and
occupation of the first 114 apartments is
expected at the end of 2014.
The estate enjoys an ideal location
within Somerset West, being in close
proximity to all essential amenities.
Vergelegen MediClinic, as well as other
leading medical practices, are located
near the estate.
In addition, a Curro Castle Nursery
School and a convenience shopping
centre, forming part of the greater
Summer Club development precinct, is
also in the planning.
