To address this , a courtyard solution was devised . The development is divided into two buildings . These structures feature sculpted ends facing the canal , creating a tranquil north west wind-protected garden . Notably , this garden preserves nine original palms from the forecourt of the old Ratanga theme park ticket office , serving as both a constraint and an opportunity for historical integration . The garden connects directly to a new public piazza on the revitalised urban wharf edge .
The design plan articulates two distinct wings responding to their respective contexts : one oriented towards the park and the other towards Century Boulevard . The boulevard-facing wing ascends from lower levels , culminating in a prominent focal point at the intersection with the canal , marking a visual gateway to the park
