A staircase was made by cutting a void in the floorplate which connects the seventh and eight floors . This feature improves the flow of staff throughout the space , and eliminates the need to constantly use the lifts to access different floors . Ultimately , this has contributed to cost reduction as well as minimising wear and tear on building infrastructure .
From the seventh floor down each floor creates its own ‘ neighbourhood ’ with employees encouraged to work where they feel most comfortable within the open plan environment . A booking system allows desk space to be booked and an online dashboard shows the availability of each space . Lockers at the end of each row of desks allow for personal storage and ensure desks are left clutter free . A ‘ fuel station ’ in the centre of each floor allows for a quick catch up , coffee or snack .
Meeting rooms have been cleverly designed as modular units , allowing for them to be easily dismantled and relocated depending on the staffing and work
