Global ports and logistics company , DP World , moved into its new sub- Saharan Africa corporate office at the Nexus Precinct in Waterfall City , Johannesburg . The precinct features five buildings , including the Waterfall City Courtyard Hotel , Nexus 1 , Nexus 2 ( DP World ) and two future office buildings , all surrounding a central piazza and sharing a parking super-basement . Nexus 2 , spanning 5,270m 2 , hosts office accommodation across four floors , accessible from either Magwa Crescent at B1 level or the piazza at ground level . The piazza serves as a fully pedestrianised , landscaped area accessible to all buildings , forming the conceptual heart of the urban design .
Nexus 2 was developed by Attacq exclusively for DP World ’ s specific requirements . “ Building DP Worlds vision has been a rewarding experience , and we ’ re proud to see it come to life . We ’ re committed to delivering quality that lasts , and we look forward to seeing the space serve its purpose for years to come ,” said Miron Naidoo , Development Manager at Attacq .
Façade The façade treatment of Nexus 2 consists of ventilated porcelain tile , glazing and an element of rendered plaster . There is a highlight colour element on each of the entry façades consisting of Alucobond cladding in one of DP World ’ s corporate colours .
