Transformed from a mid century office building into a five star hotel and apartments that adds a high end, luxurious hospitality offering to the Foreshore of the CBD. Development Background Following on from the successful redevelopment of an existing Cape Town CBD office building – Triangle House - into the Radisson Blu Hotel and Residence, Cape Town based developers, Signatura, decided to look for another opportunity to provide this well received combined hotel and apartment offering in the city centre. The revitalisation of the city centre over the last decade has turned Cape Town into a vibrant place to stay, with a wide range of restaurants and entertainment options on the doorstep. Signatura saw the potential within the CBD to develop another hotel/apartment offering that took advantage of all the city had to offer. Signatura has had a longstanding relationship with Nedbank through their Chairman John Rabie, who has worked with Nedbank on developments for many years. It had come to the attention of Signatura that Nedbank was looking at selling the original Nedbank building on the Heerengracht on the Cape Town Foreshore. One of the buildings main benefits was its location, being perfectly situated to make the most of what the City has to offer and is within walking distance of both commercial and tourist attractions.
