aspect of an inter-leading room, albeit locked
when rooms are in separate occupation.
End-of-corridor situations are therefore opti-
mised to connect rooms with a common stretch
of corridor that can be closed to create a suite
effect, not unlike two bedrooms in a house.
Conventionally stairs are located at corridor ends,
but these are relocated to facilitate this feature.
