Today’s importers, distributors and manufacturers require considerably larger facilities, higher clear heights, greater parking and storage capacity, while still maintaining a focus on security and an environmentally sustainable design. Understanding these key development and transportation elements are the very reason for the establishment of Lords View Industrial Park. Built adjacent to a municipal landfill site, Lords View opens the door to green energy production and heat generation through bio gas and Waste to Energy means. Dams are sustainably designed and built to function as a wetland that promotes multiple species of fauna and flora. Lords View is truly a park – a park where productive industry takes place. It will have beautiful green landscapes that give it a sense of place. ‘Green’ was combined with aesthetics and the boundaries between boundaries and work spaces have been softened, introducing to the market an attractive product and work conducive environment. Methane will be converted into energy and Enviroserv will build a Waste to Energy plant of 3ha on the estate. This plant will produce up to 27MVA of renewable energy. Greening and landscaping are visible upon entering at the entrance from Allandale Road, all the way along the private open spaces made to be attractive common areas. Landscaping is planned in unison with the outdoor furnishing to accentuate the natural concept of the park and promote association with sustainability. As an industrial Park, Lords View is designed to be fit for purpose, with widened road infrastructure and turning circles able to accommodate super-link vehicles, ensuring quick vehicle flow through the development.
