A refreshingly light and sustainably driven building, 35 Ferguson differs from many company headquarters as it is a multi-tenanted building with numerous examples of efficient uses of space between the tenants. These include: • A common client reception • Client centre with a shared boardrooms offering • A communal training room that seats 200 guests; this offers a great space for mass conferencing, training of staff, as well as a host of other required uses by the occupants of the building. • A restaurant on the roof of the building that offers canteen facilities for occupants in the building as well as a facility available for bespoke events ARCHITECTURAL REPORT Client Brief The brief was to design an A-grade office building with a leasable area of 7,400m2. The challenge put to the architectural team at StudioMAS was to develop the site to its optimum bulk and to create a cost effective and desirable working environment that could be easily adaptable to accommodate multiple tenants. The building was also to become the new offices of Regiments, the developers of the building, with other levels offered for sub-letting and/or sectional title ownership.
