Breakaway Spaces The central staff café, aptly named The Break Pad by staff, was designed as the ‘home base’ which incorporates house structures and varied seating booths and arrangements. Positioned in the centre of the building, the staff café is easily accessible by all departments and draws employees in. Beautiful pendant lights and beautiful timber vinyl floors finish off the space. The space is designed to accommodate for informal collaboration throughout the day. The café also contains a pool table and a foosball table that are both often used during breaks. Three of the internal meeting rooms are themed as city destinations, namely; Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg with vibrant wallpapers reflecting the theme, a patterned grey MotoVantage carpet, server units and oak veneer table tops. The front of house area embodies a corporate, yet playful feel, with a MotoVantage branded classic Mini Cooper as a statement piece. The client facing meeting rooms are all tastefully decorated with custom wallpaper and various car parts. Central to heart of MotoVantage’s culture is a lifelong approach to learning. The training rooms are thus a key focus area in the design and were donned with magnificent oversized graffiti cars creating a beautifully vibrant and dramatic affect. Paragon Interiors thoroughly enjoyed working with MotoVantage to create a space that truly reflects the values and identity of the company, and serves as a stunning home-away- from-home for both staff and visitors alike. 81
