MOTOVANTAGE INTERIOR DESIGN: PARAGON INTERIORS W | PHOTOGRAPHY: RIKKI HIBBERT e are Better Together is the overarching philosophy that MotoVantage asked Paragon Interiors, office design specialists, to bring to life in their new offices in Stonemill Office Park, Cresta. MotoVantage is a motor insurance company that specialises in offering a full range of motor value added products such as service plans, maintenance plans, scratch and dent cover and financial cover for vehicles. MotoVantage were initially in three buildings in Sunninghill, two in Vereeniging and one in Cape Town and found the set-up impractical and prohibitive to creating management visibility and encouraging cross-departmental interaction. Accessibility to the Sunninghill precinct from a travel and traffic point of view was sub-optimal, particularly once the Vereeniging office relocated to 78 Johannesburg. The existing office also did not allow for growth nor the facilities to support open plan and encourage team interaction and togetherness. Concept Paragon Interiors worked closely with the MotoVantage executive team and executive project lead Antwanette Bester, to execute a brief to create a functional, inspirational work environment that caters for the different department’s requirements within the organisation. The design concept incorporates a South African road trip to highlight key areas and connect department destinations by way of a journey through the back of house workspace.
