Eclipse SA (Pty) Ltd are the manufacturers and installers of South Africa’s only flat
opening roof. Now the most discerning homeowner can make the most of outdoor living
and entertain in style all year round - simply adjust the ceiling to enjoy natural light and
ventilation while protected from the sun. Remotely controlled, the clean, sleek and strong
design is robust and even hail and baboon proof.
An Eclipse SA Opening Roof makes balconies, patio areas and pool decks more versatile.
In light rain the louvres can be left partially open to let the water drain away in the contours
of the louvre. In heavy rain the roof louvres can be totally closed and the deep gutter system
will channel water away from the area.
In summer, interior rooms are shaded from the heat, which will reduce cooling costs.
Braai smoke can easily be ventilated through the louvres. In winter, roof louvres can be
angled to reflect light into adjoining rooms, so they’re filled with natural light and warmth.
The louvre components are manufactured from high grade aluminium and
marine grade stainless steel, ensuring they are long lasting in all weather
conditions. The Eclipse is available in a full range of colors.

“We are committed to South Africa
and believe that it is just a matter
of time before the construction
sector improves. The construction
industry and the associated brick
industry has traditionally been,
and still is, cyclical. Corobrik has
always invested strategically at
the bottom of the cycle in order
to be better prepared to reap the
rewards of an upturn.” he said.
Meyer
said
that
the
driving
force behind investment in this
facility was to increase produc-
tion whilst reducing costs. The
implementation of the best tech-
nology available worldwide would
ensure that Corobrik remained a
world-class producer.
The new facility, which is expected
to produce 100 million bricks per
annum, will meet larger volume
orders
for
major
construction
and infrastructure projects. The
company’s existing 13 clay brick
factories
and
14
kilns,
which
produce a mix of plaster and
face bricks for the residential and
commercial markets, will meet
smaller orders, he added.
