Design The site and its immediate built context lend themselves to capitalising on visibility from Oxford Road, and highlighting the property’s address. This is achieved in two ways – through the dynamic facetted southern façade facing Biermann Avenue which attracts a passerby’s attention, and by capturing the view of Rosebank Towers between the two lower buildings north of the site. 28 To augment the building’s strong identity, GLH used a faceted façade to express the building’s individuality and create a contrast with other buildings in the area. This was accomplished with the use of folded surfaces which create a strong dynamic and an easily identifiable building within the Rosebank CBD.
