WESTEND OFFICE PARK BUILDING F, CENTURION
With demand for premium office space in Centurion soaring, Building F at Westend Office Park is set for completion by November 2025, marking another step in the area’ s transformation into a top-tier business hub. Adding 4,762m ² of A-Grade office space and 239 parking bays, Building F follows the full uptake of Building E by Hello Group even before completion. In response, Abcon Developments, in partnership with the Moolman Group, is accelerating delivery.“ Buildings are being filled quicker than we can build them,” says Bryce O’ Donnell, MD of Abcon Developments.“ Westend Office Park has become a sought-after address for forward-thinking companies who recognise the value of location, convenience, sustainability and infrastructure.” Westend Office Park combines accessibility, landscaped surroundings, and modern amenities – making it a prime destination for financial services firms such as Sanlam, PSG, Old Mutual, and Hello Group. Designed by MWLF Architects to meet modern green building standards, Building F will feature flexible office layouts, backup power and water systems, and fibre connectivity. This latest development strengthens Westend’ s position as a key commercial node and supports a shared vision to redefine Centurion’ s business landscape.
LIQUOR RUNNERS, KEMPTON PARK
In response to the rapid growth of its Gauteng operations, Liquor Runners has unveiled a bold new consolidated facility in the heart of Eastport Logistics Park. Driven by a need to unify two previously separate distribution centres under one roof, the project brings together warehouse, distribution, and head office functions into a single, future-ready complex. The site was strategically selected for its highsecurity infrastructure and unparalleled connectivity to major transportation routes, ensuring streamlined logistics operations at scale.
Architecturally, the building is a sophisticated fusion of industrial efficiency and corporate elegance. The design language adopts a minimalist yet refined approach, where function meets form through deliberate spatial planning and material expression. A clear delineation between operational and administrative zones – achieved through isolated access routes and spatial separation – optimises flow while ensuring privacy and efficiency. Truck movements are entirely segregated from pedestrian paths, creating a user-centric environment that enhances safety and experience.
At the heart of the project is an integrated landscape strategy that elevates the workplace beyond the conventional industrial norm. Verdant zones and generous social spaces are interwoven throughout the site, encouraging interaction, respite, and well-being. These landscaped areas serve not only as aesthetic buffers but also as functional zones that define transitions between office, back-of-house, and logistics components.
The building’ s exterior is a striking interplay of textures and tones. A contemporary façade treatment merges tiled walls, bold marmoran-coloured forms, and expansive glazing, introducing rhythm and transparency. Sunscreens, carefully angled and varied in design, are both performative and sculptural – reducing heat gain while casting dynamic shadows that animate the building throughout the day.
More than just a logistics hub, Liquor Runners’ new facility is a case study in the architectural potential of industrial spaces. It reflects a growing trend in the sector: the pursuit of design that not only supports operational excellence but also fosters human-centered, future-proof environments.
