Though the site was unoccupied by the client during construction, the building remained active, with other tenants including the landlord and a children’ s indoor play centre. This meant that disruption had to be kept to a minimum. Health and safety considerations were paramount, and coordination between multiple trades- including HVAC, electrical, IT and joinery- was tightly managed through detailed planning and regular site meetings.
Trend’ s ability to navigate these constraints was a key factor in the project’ s success. Acting as both local design consultants and project delivery specialists, they ensured that global design standards were upheld, while leveraging a strong network of local contractors and suppliers to meet the deadline without compromising on quality.
Furniture fit-out by Design Colab All furniture and procurement were managed through Design CoLab, Trend’ s dedicated turnkey furniture partner. By streamlining sourcing and logistics, the team was able to ensure consistency, manage lead times effectively, and align furnishings with the broader design vision.
Conclusion This project illustrates the increasingly complex balancing act required in workplace design today- where identity, wellbeing, culture and performance must all be considered in harmony. Through a refined approach to colour, space and user experience, Trend Group has crafted a workplace that doesn’ t just look the part, but truly supports the people who use it.
