accuracy concrete floors . The facility has the unusual requirement of 13m high concrete walls . These were necessitated by the strict fire codes governing the stored products . These walls were designed as precast , tilt-up elements that allowed the warehouse façade to be erected very quickly and reduced the construction programme . Apart from the strict fire codes the design team had to ensure that the final warehouse solution was ‘ bunded ’ to ensure that any material spillage would be contained within the warehouse and not dissipate into the storm water system . Most of this was achieved with a series of mechanical drop-down barriers at all façade openings . Due to space constraints on the site , the warehouse uses height to achieve its storage capacity . This abnormal height storage is possible with the high accuracy concrete flooring and specialised forklifts .
