LIGHTING THE FUTURE

DAVID VILLAGE LIGHTING SECURES OFFICIAL UK DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS FOR ARTEMIDE ARCHITECTURAL AHEAD OF LIGHT26 SHOWCASE
Established in 1981, David Village Lighting specialise in decorative and architectural designer lighting from a portfolio of over 100 premium brands. For 45 years, they have worked with architects, developers, interior designers, specifiers, business owners, and contractors on a wide range of lighting projects including offices, retail, hospitality, restaurants, and residential.
In 2025, David Village Lighting became the official UK distributor for Artemide’ s architectural lighting collection, a natural step in their 40-year partnership with the renowned Italian lighting brand. As the official UK distributor for Artemide Architectural and Alphabet of Light, David Village Lighting will be showcasing a range of both decorative and architectural Artemide products at Light26 to complement the launch of Artemide’ s newly refurbished London showroom.
The Artemide Architectural collection features innovative lighting solutions suitable for commercial and residential projects, including configurable and modular collections which merge decorative elements with architectural technology, such as Alphabet of Light, Turn Around, and Sylt. Using Artemide’ s configurator tool, David Village Lighting are able to help clients create designs tailored specifically to each individual project and space.
“ We’ ve enjoyed helping specifiers create some really fun lighting designs, from bakeries and cafes, through to head offices and corporate spaces; for example, using La Linea is a playful way to bring light to a space in unexpected ways. It can be incorporated into the Sylt track alongside spotlights and pendants to really tailor lighting to a space. With products such as this, we are able to help clients achieve a balance between technical function and aesthetic design in one lighting solution.” – Jack, Business Development Manager at David Village Lighting.
“ We’ re excited to showcase Somnium at Light26, one of Artemide Architectural’ s most recent releases. Using a patented optical cell, the lens and antiglare are fused, resulting in reduced material use. It provides direct low-glare light, plus indirect emission to work in the surrounding space, all through compact light cells. It’ s a technical solution with a delicate and sophisticated aesthetic, perfect for so many applications. The standalone linear option works perfectly over kitchen islands or reception desks, or the bespoke configurations create a perfect solution for office spaces or meeting rooms.” – Mate, Head of Artemide Sales at David Village Lighting.
David Village Lighting set up a dedicated Specification Support Team to provide free of charge guidance and assistance to lighting specifiers, whether this be with the use of product configurators, technical information, or product advice; they can support the early stages of projects, ensuring that lighting can take the centre stage.
