ARCHITECTURAL FOCUS

THE HARBOUR’ S ESSENCE

REDEFINING LUXURY ACCOMMODATION THROUGH INNOVATIVE DESIGN IN HONG KONG
W Interiors, a Hong Kong firm, completed this redesign in phases to limit disruption to hotel operations. The work covers guest rooms, common areas, and event spaces. Materials selected include those sourced locally, such as wood and textiles from regional suppliers. These choices support construction that meets accepted environmental guidelines. The design also aims to lower ongoing costs through efficient layouts and lighting.
The project responds to the needs of different guests, including business travellers, wedding groups, and families. Spaces are arranged to allow for both private use and group activities. For example, common areas feature seating that accommodates small meetings or larger gatherings. Rooms include work desks and storage that fit varied travel requirements.
