AN ACCESSIBLE, INCLUSIVE, AND VIBRANT CIVIC SPACE

Designed by Ozer \ Urger Architecture and recently opened to the public, Kocaeli National Will Square aims to be an accessible, inclusive, and vibrant civic space that responds to the city’ s dynamic character. The canopy, the most defining architectural element of the project, acts both as a shelter from the city’ s bustle and as a permeable structure that enriches public life, transforming the square into a living urban organism.

Architects Ahmet Mucip Urger and Ali Ozer, known for their award winning architectural and public realm projects that emphasize the relationship between the built environment and people, have added a new urban scale project to their portfolio.
