ZUMTOBEL GROUP BRANDS , THORN AND ZUMTOBEL LIGHTING ANNOUNCED AS SILVER SPONSORS OF SERPENTINE PAVILION 2024
This year , the Serpentine Pavilion will be designed by the innovative Seoul-based Korean architect Minsuk Cho and his firm , Mass Studies . Titled “ Archipelagic Void ,” Cho ’ s design promises to be a captivating exploration of space , form , and function .
In line with the Pavilion ’ s vision , Thorn and Zumtobel Lighting are proud to provide all the lighting , ensuring that every aspect of Cho ’ s visionary design is illuminated with precision and elegance . The confirmed luminaires include Thorn ’ s Caelon for the interior , Mystrid Flex to illuminate the underside of benches , and Axyl Greet Bollards to illuminate the pathway , to guide visitors to enter the centrally lit gathering space , enhancing both the functionality and ambience of the Pavilion .
As the Pavilion opens to the public in June , Thorn and Zumtobel Lighting invite visitors to experience the convergence of architecture , art , and light at this iconic annual landmark .
