Noise , a pollution to be reduced

Noise pollution is often reported as a major annoyance felt by the general population . Determining the causes and characteristics of noise pollution is a social requirement in places where there is constant ambient noise ( cinemas , exhibitions , etc .). This noise is at the origin of many disorders affecting human activities and causes stress and fatigue .

The principle of absorption used in Barrisol ® sheets
Barrisol ® acoustic solutions use the principle of absorption . This principle works by reducing the intensity of the reflection of sound waves in a room . The air movement induced by a sound source is then partially absorbed by the fabric which reflects only part of it , breaking the reverberation effect ( not to be confused with acoustic insulation which cuts off the transmission of noise from one place to another ).
The materials allow the sound to pass through , absorbing part of it with each reflection and converting it into heat energy . It is this sequence of consecutive energy losses that reduces the noise levels in a room .
