There is a moral and , increasingly , legal obligation to recognise social and religious diversity in the facilities provided in the workplace .
Many large employers see practical and commercial benefits in improving the ways they cater for the well-being of their staff and visitors . Improved morale and loyalty , lower staff turnover and reduced absenteeism can all be very tangible results of enlightened staff relations .
Corporations and public service organisations are beginning to cater for the spiritual needs of their workforce and customers by creating a multi-faith room or prayer room as well as providing facilities for their physical well-being .
Probably the most widely performed act of ritual cleansing is wudu , performed by Muslims before prayer . As a new client told us

At School

Schools and universities are leaders in encouraging multicultural tolerance . Providing a multi-faith room helps to develop interaction and mutual understanding .
After a recent WuduMate installation for pre-prayer ablution at a Birmingham school , a teacher informed us “ They are being used regularly by the students when they are in the Prayer Room . They are really pleased with them and that we thought of them being able to carry out their rituals when praying .” a more dignified solution
