ONLINE CPD WEBINAR ANNOUNCED
George Barnsdale has announced its latest online CPD webinar “ The future of conserving the past – how to sustainably specify timber windows and doors for conservation projects ” on 4th November 2021 at 1pm .
Aimed at professionals working in the built environment , the event is perfectly timed to coincide with the COP26 conference which is urging builders to reduce their carbon footprint by utilising embodied carbon in existing buildings . The session considers two sides of the conservation coin – balancing the environmental impact of inefficient historic properties with the need to protect the integrity of the building for future generations .
The webinar is part of a series of “ how to specify ” CPDs developed by the manufacturer and is underpinned by the company ’ s extensive knowledge and technical expertise . With its own on-site research and development centre at the Lincolnshire factory where the company has been based since 1884 , the company prides itself on knowing timber windows and doors inside out .
