CUTTING EDGE BUILD
HSSP EMBARKS ON INCLUSIVE PROJECT TO BRING STATE-OF-THE-ART CRICKET FACILITIES TO HISTORIC LEICESTERSHIRE VILLAGE
Belvoir Cricket & Countryside Trust commissioned RIBA Chartered HSSP Architects to develop a £ 1 million new cricket pavilion and indoor coaching building . The completed project will provide exceptional facilities for local children to play the game , as well as a central social venue for the Belvoir sporting community .
This project will see the existing pavilion replaced with a stateof-the-art new pavilion and multi-use indoor coaching hall . The cutting-edge build will enable the trust to increase the number of primary age children and special needs youngsters who take part in its programmes by thousands more each year from just over 3,000 each year at present , as well as providing a valuable wet weather facility , and powering a wider range of ‘ forest school ’ activities .
