FLOORING INDUSTRY COUNTS DOWN TO CATCH UP , AT CFJLIVE |
The flooring industry is preparing for CFJLIVE - its first official event in over a year - which takes place on Thursday 1 July . The free-to-attend global exhibition is the UK industry ’ s first ever virtual event , bringing together over 100 global exhibitors . It will be broadcast live from a main stage - at FITA ’ s training centre in Loughborough - and from exhibitors ’ showrooms , offices and factories around the world . CFJLIVE will air between 2-7pm on Thursday 1 July . On arrival , visitors will enter the main stage and a list of session rooms , enabling them to move around the event . Within exhibitor session rooms , minievents will be hosted , including live seminars from technical experts , demonstrations and factory tours , with audio , video and text feeds .

STAGGERING SOLUTION
Water penetrating cavity wall masonry above stepped and staggered gables is controlled using preformed approved Cavitrays . The only system awarded European Technical Approval is manufactured by the UK specialist Cavity Trays Ltd . Supplied with a ready-shaped flashing bonded to a DPC tray that adjusts to suit cavity width being formed , the Type X Cavitray ensures compliancy and compatibility . Unlike alternatives , the tray incorporates an integral guide and barrier that partially extends under each flashing to aid correct alignment and placement whilst preventing water discharge at the inboard end . The preformed Type X cavitray is available with lead or synthetic flashing options , and the specifier may select short flashings to dress over soaker or secret gutter upstands , or long flashings to dress directly over appropriately shaped tiles . The approved Type X cavitrays , from the longest-established specialist .

Vectaire has three new models in their vertical whole house heat recovery range . To ensure a comfortable user experience , the Midi , Maxi and Maxi Plus are now available with advanced acoustic attenuation . They are lined with superior sound deadening materials for really low sound levels ( the sound pressure levels are down to 14.4 , 13.2 and 14.4 dBA respectively ). The efficiency and performance remain the same . All these “ AT-BY ” models are complete with summer bypass and frost-stat , and commissioned via an integral LCD . Functions , including trickle , purge and boost speeds for each motor , boost speed over-run time , the time delay before the boost speed kicks in , holiday mode and night-time boost - all easily adjusted .
