After years of research and development,
2tec2 was launched in 2005. Over the years,
many renowned brands and architects
discovered the wonderful qualities of 2tec2
flooring. Its look, functionalities and endless

One of the more recent projects is the ‘Library
@ Harbourfront’, an amazing library in the
world’s largest shopping centre near the
waterfront in Singapore. Architect Zee Choing
was inspired by its seaside location, adding
a maritime touch to the entire project. Using
2tec2, the floors have wave-like patterning,
using colours to mark different sections and
routes throughout the library. “2tec2 is a
sustainable, high-quality and elegant flooring
solution,” Choing explains his choice. “It
offered all the practical characteristics of a
hard floor, while adding the look and feel of
textile, combined with an enormous choice
and options for customization. It was perfect
for this project, allowing us to create an
intimate, cosy atmosphere while keeping it
easy to maintain and ready to greet hundreds
of visitors every day.”
