REYNAERS PARTNERS WITH THE BIRMINGHAM
ARCHITECTURAL ASSOCIATION TO
PROMOTE LOCAL ECO-BUILDING
In a bid to support the development of more eco-friendly buildings in
Birmingham and local architects, Reynaers Aluminium Ltd (Reynaers)
has teamed up with The Birmingham Architectural Association (BAA),
in a year-long sponsorship which will see the company become a
‘Friend of the BAA’ until late 2020.
The BAA, founded in 1874, represents people in the local area who
have an interest in architecture. Run by a community of people
from a variety of practices based in the city, their aim is to promote,
support and share knowledge through their community.
David Lomax, Consult Project Manager at Reynaers, comments: “It’s
imperative as an industry leader that we connect with our customers
and are aware of the industry issues they face. Our partnership with
the BAA will provide us with an opportunity to engage with the
local architectural community, support them and share our expert
knowledge.

deeper relationships with local businesses, not only being a
supplier, but also a valuable partner— for Birmingham’s architects,
fabricators, project developers, investors and end users. Our core

aluminium in construction; the recycling of aluminium scrap currently
saves around 80 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions each year,
the equivalent of removing 15 million cars from the world’s roads.
