ETL Visual Services offers smarter virtual show-rounds for the property market ETL Visual Services, the computer graphics, videography and stills photography division of digital forensics specialist Evidence Talks, has used its experience with leading retail brands to develop a service for the commercial and residential property market. The company’s showreel includes examples of computer-generated imagery (CGI), along with a portfolio of stills photography and product shots. Most focus, however, for architects and developers is likely to rest on the ability to rapidly convert 3D models and to produce smart, ‘fly-through’ virtual show rounds for both commercial and residential property. Computer-generated imagery allows models to be animated and keyed within captured video footage, in turn enabling real world simulations, step-by-step animations and exploded view sequences. Company spokesman Jack Howell commented “CGI showcases building designs that may otherwise prove challenging to show either in tradi- tional drawings or as a physical 3D model. The most exciting and exact- ing part of our work continues to be the production of computer-gener- ated visualisations with realistic lighting effects and textures.” Clients are already seeing benefits at both the concept stage, where designs and layouts can be tested on a virtual platform to optimise costs and reduce the time to market, and also in the marketing of property, with virtual show-rounds providing a cost-effective sales aid. The company’s range of related services, including a portable infinity wall, is available to clients or agencies either on-site or at its own studios. T:+44 (0)1908 597960 | W:www.etlvisuals.com
