WINTECH ANNOUNCE NEW CERTIFICATION SCHEME
FOR RAINSCREEN CLADDING SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Building envelope testing & certification specialists, Wintech
Engineering Limited, have recently expanded their UKAS
accredited WinMark Certification services by introducing a new
scheme for Rainscreen Cladding Support Systems. Similar to
their WinMark Scheme for the Performance of Curtain Walling
& Rainscreen Cladding, the new scheme is compliant with the
NHBC Chapter 6.9 and Premier Guarantee’s Technical Manual
7.7.5.
Wintech Associate Director of Certification, Mark Swanborough
announced the introduction of the new scheme, saying “The
marketplace is waking up to the importance of product testing
and certification, and with regulations from industry bodies
getting more stringent, manufacturers and systems companies
can’t afford to not have some form of industry-recognised
product testing and certification.
“Certification can be key for our customers to demonstrate
that their products and processes have been independently
assessed to prove their credibility, and the competency of
the company’s manufacturing systems and installation quality
as a whole. We are already known throughout the industry
for providing testing to CWCT

international standards, now we
want to wake the industry up to
the importance of having their
cladding product certified”
