WESTSIDE
Westside in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead was remodelled,
refurbished and extended to provide contemporary Grade A office
accommodation. Located alongside the Grand Union Canal, it was
built as a landmark headquarters for British Telecoms in 1990.
A once tired and dated office building is now bright, modern
and energy efficient. Highlights include a new café, a bespoke
entrance canopy and full height ash timber cladding in the
atriums. Elegant design brings together private office space and
communal business lounge areas.
Purpose-built showers and changing facilities complement the
new secure cycle parking and landscaped garden areas, which
access a canal-side footpath well used by cyclists and runners.
