SELECTAGLAZE AT LONDON BUILD 2018
Selectaglaze will be exhibiting at London Build on the 23rd – 24th
October in Olympia at stand G36. Technical advisors will be at
hand to answer any secondary glazing related questions.
London Build’s two day event brings together experts from the
built environment to share and learn information about their
industry. It is the leading construction exhibition in the UK with its
focus on construction opportunities in London and the South East.
Selectaglaze has been established for fifty years and granted a
Royal Warrant in 2004 as testament to the quality of its products.
In that time, it has gained extensive experience with working on all
building types from Listed properties to new build hotels.
Firmdale Hotels approached Selectaglaze to help deliver a solution
with their bespoke secondary glazing systems for the stunning
Ham Yard Hotel, located in one of the most vibrant parts of London.
The introduction of secondary glazing, which is fitted to the
room side of a building, is one of the most effective solutions for
combating outside noise, and a reduction of 45dB is achievable
when there is a gap of at least 100mm
London Build will give construction and built environment
professionals access to the most up to date methods, products
and services including 300 exhibitors, 150+ CPDs and accredited
workshops and 7 conference areas.

Three different unit styles were used, one of which was the Series
80 horizontal slider, typically used for larger windows as it can
