Recent Projects
In recent years, Cadplan has worked with the architects
renovating the Apple Store in Glasgow. Cadplan’s
surveyors were at the site for just 3 days, 3D laser
scanning the internally and externally the retail store as
part of Measured Building Survey. Cadplan delivered the
required Basement, Ground and Mezzanine Floor plans
and Elevations within just 2 weeks.
3D Laser Scan Point Cloud in Colour - The Passage, The Hague
Cadplan had also worked with the architect for the
residential Grosvenor Estate development on Grosvenor
Crescent for the now completed Belgravia Gate. The
whole site with original buildings was scanned in 3D
to provide a point cloud from which a BIM compliant,
3D model was produced. The scanning and completed
documentation was delivered to the architect in just 4
weeks.
In Holland, Cadplan’s team travelled to the Passage
Shopping Centre in The Hague to assist in a retail store
transformation project. The project needed 2 visits to 3D
laser scan the book store and surrounding areas in colour.
The required floor plans and sections of the building were
completed in just 3 weeks.

As part of a longer term refurbishment project Cadplan
have been working with the luxurious Shelbourne Hotel,
Dublin to scan and document sections of the intricately
detailed building providing documentation as required.
