DRU Fires, based in the Netherlands, is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of contemporary gas fires, wood stoves and functional gas heating appliances. A health, wellbeing and productivity CPD from Armstrong Ceilings is now RIBA-approved. Here East is a new campus for the creative and digital industries, transforming the former press and broadcast centres on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park into 1.2 million sq ft of commercial space. Wrightstyle supplied three full-height steel curtain wall internal atriums, to a total project size of over 800 m2, combining fire resistance to 60 minutes of integrity and insulation with a high level of acoustic performance. Completed on time and within budget, Roof-Pro successfully delivered a bespoke roof access system for an extension at the Royal Derby Hospital housing an MRI scanner. As well as providing easy and safe access to the MRI scanner’s rooftopmounted chiller unit, Roof-Pro designed and built: • Chiller Support Platform: a bespoke structure, speciallydesigned. • Roof Penetration Box: waterproof method to bring cables and pipes into the building from the roof. • Step-Overs: tailored Roof-Pro components give maintenance personnel easy access to the chiller support platform so they can inspect and service the units.
