Our range of optical quality, high
gloss, acrylic panels are a stunning
addition to our range. These provide
an excellent alternative to glass and are
supplied, from stock, in a broad range
of aspirational colours, but can also be
colour matched to your exacting details
simply by providing a RAL reference.
The range has 20x the impact strength
of glass, yet is only half the weight. This
makes the system easy to store and
handle during installation as the material
can also be cut, drilled, post formed,
and easily installed using standard
wood working tools.
The product is extremely durable and is
technically rated to a 8H (pencil rating)
surface hardness so it won’t, warp,
stain, or discolour and is therefore ideal
for both wet and dry areas..
Laminated Panels
The laminated panel range which
comprises of over 40 different decors, is
constructed of High Pressure Laminate
bonded to a WBP plywood core usi ng
a specialist adhesive system to give a
completely waterproof surface, meeting
all the requirements of EN438.

Glass Panels
Mermaid’s glass panels are produced
in 6mm toughened glass in a range of
over 40 standard colours, with further
colours available by special request.
After the special painting process the
back of the panels are protected using
a vinyl film to both prevent damage and
stop light transition through the panel.
With a team of fully trained external
technical staff the business offers a
complete free of charge CPD service
to ensure that specifiers and clients of
the product can design the optimum
product for the chosen environment.
