to decking and cladding, the association also offers a free materials sourcing
service which furnishes you with a list of companies ready and able to meet
your specific requirements. Janet Sycamore, director of operations explains
‘Sourcing suitable products and obtaining quotations can be time consuming
but we help lighten that load. One of our enquirers even asked us to source
structural grade hardwood to be used in the recreation of a 1920’s wooden
roller coaster. One of our members came up trumps with some Opepe timber’.
TDCA members consist of material manufactures including timber, fixings,
timber protection, coatings and other accessories as well as the best that
industry can offer by way of professional installers. Members are DeckMark or
CladMark accredited which means they meet the stringent requirements of
these two TDCA quality schemes.
