Build Earth Live 2016

Build Earth Live 2016 will challenge
teams from across the world to compete
against one another to design a
Hyperloop station. The Hyperloop is a
cutting-edge rail concept that will see
the mode of transportation travel at
a whopping 700 miles per hour. The
original Hyperloop idea was unveiled
by Elon Musk in 2013, who said it could
take passengers the 380 miles (610km)
from LA to San Francisco in 30 minutes half the time it takes a plane.

with a countdown timer is ideal for use
with all heating, hot water and lighting
systems, including LED. With a flexible
boost time ranging from 15 minutes
to 23 hours; this products is suitable
for typical domestic use (immersion
heaters, panel heaters, electric towel
rails) however offering an additional
advantage for Landlords and Facilities
Managers looking to control their
electricity consumption. There is also an
option to password protect the chosen
timings so they cannot be overridden.
Fourteen solispost solar powered
lighting bollards have been installed
at Saint Hill Manor, East Grinstead,
East Sussex lighting the pathway from
the car park to the main building. The
solispost bollards were specified by
landscape architects, Enplan as part of
improvements to the grounds at Saint
Hill.
During the next few months leading up
to the competition, teams from around
the world will get set to compete for
global recognition within the AEC
community.

Minimal disturbance was caused during
installation at the fine 18th century
building. Needing no connection to the
grid or to a generator, the solar powered
solisposts required only the installation
of a sub-surface baseplate.
Solispost offers a very attractive overall

are typically about 25% lower than for
conventional bollards.
